Next weekend we are celebrating the Feast of Christ the King the Feast Day of the parish. It is a day that the church asks us to focus on the young people in our parish and they will be helping us with the liturgy for the Masses next weekend. There will also be a Youth afternoon on Saturday 22nd November starting at 2pm. There will be workshops and activities leading in to the Saturday evening Mass at 6pm. All Youth and Youth Café very welcome to come along with any others who want to join in for the afternoon.
At Mass in November we pray for all those who have died and are on the next stage of the journey back to God.

Sadly Mr Geoffrey Robinson voted with the government on the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Bill again. The abortion amendments were not introduced as feared so this is good news, but Mr Robinson’s own stand is very disappointing. I hope that we will have individual responses from him in due course. Dominic Coslett will be ordained a priest by Archbishop Vincent here at Christ the King on December 20th at 12 noon. First Mass 9am on 21st . Keep him in your prayers.
